Rental Equipment:  BOYS- Youth Boys - Contact Us to reserve your gear!  need Rental Gear.

Each group (Elementary, Middle and High School) will follow a "Practice and Play" format. The first half of practice will focus on individual/team lacrosse skills and drills. Once practice is complete; coaches will create teams and the last half of the session will be spent playing a 7v7 (or 6v6 with shot blockers in goal if we do not have enough goalies) format. Fall ball is designed to introduce new players to the game, grow individual skills, focus on fundamentals, and above all HAVE FUN!

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS OR DELAYS: We always have to plan for the weather and we will do our best to keep you informed. Our goal is to make weather calls before you make the drive to the we will try to get those cancellations out via email, text and social media before 1PM on Sundays. If it starts to rain or storm during our session we will play in light rain, but we will NOT continue if there is lightning in the area. We do have a weather day built into our schedule and if needed we will extend our Fall Season.

NEW LOCATION: All practices and games will be played at the Merrimack Sports Complex. This complex has four lighted turf fields - field numbers 11-14. Merrimack turf fields are located on Ivy Ave SW directly across from Milton Frank Stadium.
3217 Ivy Avenue SW
Huntsville, AL 35805

When you arrive please check in at the tent. If you have reserved gear we will have it there for you to try on and you will be able to sign the waiver form and pay any rental fees. (If you have signed up for rental gear you will be receiving an email with additional instructions and pricing)

Once you are checked in please head to your field and put your gear on and get ready to play. The coaches will be there to help you get started and they will take it from there.

SAFETY: ALL Players MUST wear their helmet (or goggles for girls) when passing or catching before or after practice. This is pretty should always be passing and catching with your gloves and your helmet on. It will help you get used to playing the way your also helps ensure no one gets hurt.

PARENTS/SPECTATORS: Please set up your chairs on the opposite side of the field from the players. (We also do NOT recommend sitting up behind the goals.... they tend to miss a lot and we don't want you to get hit by a lacrosse ball)

INJURIES/SICK: There will be a trainer on site for all High School games. In the event a player is not feeling good or gets dinged up when the trainer is NOT there, the coaches will asses the situation and take the necessary precautions to ensure player safety. During the Fall our number one issue is players getting too hot, feeling sick, tummy hurting, or mild muscle cramping. That is why we can't stress enough the need to be hydrated before, during and after.

-We recommend each player bring enough water and/or sports drink to cover the entire session. I can't stress this one enough. Please make sure your player has something to drink and a lot of it. The first few weeks will be very warm, and they will drink more than they think they will.

-FOLDING CHAIRS-Parents if you intended to stay and watch practice and/or the games...bring a chair. There are no bleachers at the Eastview Fields.

PLAYER PROTECTIVE GEAR: Each player must have their own lacrosse gear. These sessions will end up with Full Contact games. Each Player should have their own Lacrosse Gear. Including: Lacrosse Helmet with MOUTHGUARD, Lacrosse Shoulder Pads, Lacrosse Elbow Pads, Lacrosse Gloves, Cleats (Soccer or football cleats are fine...NO METAL Cleats or Spikes)

RENTAL/LOANER GEAR: Some of you have already coordinated with us for rental or loaner protective equipment. We have a limited number of helmets, shoulder pads, elbow pads and gloves available. If you need gear, please let us know by contacting us at:

LACROSSE STICK: Each player must have a stick, either a short attack stick, long defensive pole or a goalie stick. If you need help with a stick, we have loaner sticks available. Please let us know if you need one.

UNIFORM: To help reduce player fees, we do NOT provide uniforms in the Fall. Please wear shorts, and a T Shirt. If you have a pennie please bring it. We will issue out reversible pennies as needed for the games that will be collected at the end of each session.

-Please Do NOT bring your pets, Dogs, Cats, Hamsters, Snakes, Eagles etc....

-Please park in the parking lot.

-DID WE MENTION WATER/SPORTS DRINK? The first few sessions will no doubt be warm, and the players will be drinking a lot to stay hydrated.  Please bring enough water for your own player. This is a MUST HAVE! BRING YOUR OWN WATER.

-FOLDING CHAIRS: Moms/Dads if you plan on staying and watching the sessions please plan on brining your own folding chairs. There are no bleachers at the Eastview fields.

-BRING A FRIEND! We will leave Registration open so it's not too late to tell your friends about Fall Lacrosse and for them to get involved.

Thank you for choosing to play Fall Ball with us. We look forward to seeing you on the field and hope you will help us keep on recruiting! Tell a Friend... Invite a Friend.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Last but Far from Least!

WE WANT YOU: Our organization is run by volunteers just like you. We are always in need of folks who want to help and are willing to do the work that it takes to run the association. That can be as much or as little as you are comfortable with doing. If you are interested in helping coaching, organizing, setting up or tearing down fields, shagging balls...making snacks...putting up registration signs, sharing information on social media etc....we would like to hear from you! You don't have to have any lacrosse experience...just a willingness to pitch in and lend a hand where it is needed.
